THE CHETNA COALITION (CHETCO)
With leadership and administration from Loomstate assessment and consultation from Pi foundation and grant funding from C+A Foundation, ChetCo has worked for over two years with the renown Chetna Organic Agriculture Producers Company to develop an international supply-chain coalition of over 16 ethical textile and fashion brands and five best-practice production facilities. Working together across the supply chain, ChetCo creates and implements community-driven, collaborative, sustainable business solutions to improve the livelihoods of Chetna's nearly 9,000 small-scale organic cotton farmers, and over 2,000 garment workers manufacturing our garments.
In 2015, ChetCo brands produced over 2 million organic cotton goods made from Chetna Organic Cotton and Fair Trade Cotton
